We are a remote, summer season lodge high in the Wind River Mountains open from late May until early October. Our operating season and opening day any given year depends on when the snow comes and goes and when the road to the lodge is free of snow. Big Sandy Lodge is approximately 100 miles from Rock Springs, Wyoming. During the winter season when the lodge is closed, we reside in Rock Springs. You can make reservations for your stay any time of the year by calling, e-mailing, or using snail-mail.
