The Setting
Big Sandy Lodge LLC is remote and secluded. We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain country you'll find anywhere. There are miles of hiking and horseback riding trails nearby. The lodge is situated in the forest right on the edge of a pretty lake with great fishing. Our rustic log cabins are like a trip back in time. The black night sky is incredible! You can see all the stars in the sky without the interference of any lights and almost reach out and touch them they are so brilliant! If you want to get away from it all for your group function, this is the place!

Weddings & Receptions
We host many kinds of group functions here at Big Sandy Lodge. Couples who want a mountain setting for their wedding will find the rustic old lodge, beautiful lake, and abundant wildflowers. Our lodge reception area can hold a large crowd for the cutting of the cake and the dinner. Our cabins can house up to 44 overnight guests. Your band can set up outside for dancing. Call and ask about the various settings for your outside ceremony and picture location opportunities.

Family Reunions
Want a unique setting for your family reunion? We've hosted many reunions and each has been unforgettable! There's lots of room for the kids to explore and a lake right by the lodge. The family fishermen can walk right from their cabin door to fish in the nearby lake. We can arrange horseback rides, nature trips, photography excursions and more. For those who would rather just sit around a roaring fire and sip their favorite beverage and catch up on old times, our rustic lodge invites you. Our staff is ready to serve you. For those who want to hike, we are right next to the Big Sandy Trailhead with access into the Bridger Wilderness and many trails and lakes. Six different species of trout await the avid angler! Most lakes are within 8 miles of the lodge. Some of the more remote lakes are within 15 miles. We also have horseshoe pits and volleyball nets, or bring your own family games! Group rates are available for those who wish to rent the entire lodge and all the cabins. Please call early to inquire and book your event! Artist Retreats
We have enjoyed having a number of artist groups come and stay at Big Sandy Lodge LLC over the years. We've even had a group of Disney artists come to draw mountain settings, wildlife and more as part of their research. We offer solitude and a chance to draw or paint without distractions. Wildlife and wildflowers are everywhere. Please call and inquire about the specific needs of your artist group.

Executive Retreats

Imagine this. A rustic lodge high in the rugged mountains. No phones or even electricity. Fishing numerous nearby lakes. Our Wrangler/Guides will gladly take you out horseback riding on mountain trails. It's not uncommon to see deer, moose and elk on these excursions. If you want to get away from the lodge and have a remote camp, we can take care of all the details of getting you there and maintaining the camp so all you have to do is ENJOY the outdoors! We have groups who like to spend two to five days camped at the same location by a mountain lake where they can fish, hike, and soak in the clean air and blue sky.
